Supervisor Training

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) puts together drug and alcohol education and training requirements for supervisors and employees. We create our DOT/FMCSA supervisor training and employee education programs in light of these requirements to keep you DOT and FMCSA compliant. Every company need to have a people who has received training  Supervisors must receive at least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and 60 minutes of training on controlled substances use. The training is to help supervisors decide whether to require a driver to take a reasonable suspicion test. The training must include the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and controlled substance use.

Who needs a Supervisor? 

​

Do you have a CDL and operate an interstate or/and intrastate business on public roads?

  • If you operate vehicles that require a CDL on the public roads and you have more than one employee in the company, you are required to get DOT Supervisor Training 

Are you an owner-operator?

  • Owner-operators are not subject to DOT supervisor training. However, you are still required to register with a consortium for DOT drug and alcohol testing.
